1. Agreement to Terms
By using or accessing this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”).
If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not use this website or make any purchases.
These T&Cs apply to all sales made through CAA Computers Pty Ltd, whether in-store or online.
2. Consumer Guarantees
All goods sold by CAA Computers come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the issue is not a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
3. Repairs by Manufacturer or Technician
Goods presented for repair may be replaced with manufacturer-refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired.
Manufacturer-refurbished parts may also be used during the repair process.
4. Prices and Order Acceptance
All prices listed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD), include 10% GST, and are subject to change without notice.
Prices are regularly updated based on supplier costs and availability.
An order placed through our website is an offer to purchase, not a binding contract.
A contract is formed only when CAA Computers dispatches your order.
Payment Terms:
- Payments must be made in full before delivery or pickup.
- Payments are securely processed via Stripe or other WooCommerce-supported gateways.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or supply issues.
- If an order is cancelled after payment, you will be contacted and refunded in full.
Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for guidance only. We do not warrant that all details are error-free or fully current.
5. Credit Card Surcharges
A 1.2% surcharge applies to Visa and Mastercard payments, and a 2% surcharge applies to American Express transactions.
CAA Computers is not responsible for any delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.
6. Order Cancellations and Modifications
Orders can be modified or cancelled prior to assembly or dispatch by contacting [email protected].
Once assembly of a custom-built PC has begun, cancellations will incur a restocking fee of 25% to cover administrative, testing, and component allocation costs.
Orders marked as “ready for shipping” or “shipped” cannot be cancelled.
Orders on “back-order” status may be cancelled without penalty.
7. Shipping and Delivery Policy
We ship to all destinations within mainland Australia (including Tasmania) using reputable couriers such as StarTrack and Australia Post.
- Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight, size, and location.
- Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days after full payment is received.
- Delivery times vary by region (3–5 business days on average; rural areas may take longer).
- Tracking details will be provided via email once your order is dispatched.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the item has been collected by the courier.
8. Local Pickup
Pickup is available from our Kingsgrove NSW workshop by appointment.
Customers must provide valid ID and proof of purchase when collecting orders.
All pickups must be collected within 14 days of notification, unless otherwise arranged.
9. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Please choose your products carefully before purchase.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
You are entitled to a refund or replacement only if an item has a major problem, such as:
- A fault that would have stopped someone from buying it if known beforehand;
- The item is unsafe;
- The item differs significantly from the sample or description;
- The item fails to perform as advertised and cannot be fixed easily.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time.
If it cannot be repaired, you may choose a replacement or refund.
Return Process:
- Customers must provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
- All returns require testing and inspection by our technicians.
- If no fault is found, the item will be returned to the customer at their cost.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return items to our store.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised repairs;
- Software or configuration issues;
- Products found to be working as intended after testing.
10. Restocking Fee
Cancelled or returned orders after assembly or dispatch will incur a 25% restocking fee of the total order value, plus any applicable shipping costs.
11. Warranty – Return to Base (RTB)
CAA Computers provides a 12-month Return-To-Base (RTB) warranty on all custom-built PCs and laptops.
This warranty covers hardware defects caused by manufacturing faults only.
Customers must return products to our workshop for assessment.
If a fault is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.
Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Software errors, malware, or corrupted operating systems;
- Accidental, physical, or liquid damage;
- Damage due to overclocking, tampering, or electrical surges;
- Repairs or upgrades carried out by unauthorised persons;
- General wear and tear.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return the product for testing.
If the product is confirmed to be faulty under warranty, CAA Computers will cover the cost of return shipping.
12. Proof of Purchase
You must provide a valid proof of purchase (invoice, bank statement, or credit card record) for any warranty or return claim.
13. Packaging Requirements
Returned goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
If goods arrive damaged due to poor packaging, the warranty may be voided.
Original boxes, accessories, and manuals should be included where possible.
14. Software
CAA Computers does not provide warranty or refunds for any software once installed or activated.
Software compatibility and licensing are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.
