The CAA Phantom XT is a high-performance 1440p gaming PC built for gamers who want high frame rates, ultra-quality graphics and enough GPU power to step into 4K gaming when required.

Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, the Phantom XT is designed around one of the strongest combinations available for high-refresh-rate 1440p gaming.

With 32GB DDR5-6000 memory, fast NVMe storage, 360mm liquid cooling and an 850W Gold-rated power supply, this gaming PC is built for demanding AAA titles, competitive games, streaming and future upgrades.

High-Performance 1440p Gaming PC

1440p is the sweet spot for this system.

The RX 9070 XT provides enough graphics performance to run modern games at high or ultra settings while still delivering the high frame rates required for 144Hz, 165Hz, 180Hz and higher-refresh gaming monitors.

Independent testing of the RX 9070 XT shows average performance of around 119 FPS across a wide selection of games at 1440p, making it an excellent GPU for high-refresh QHD gaming.

Combined with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the Phantom XT is particularly well suited to games where strong CPU performance and high frame rates matter.

Expected 1440p Gaming Performance

Performance varies depending on game updates, drivers and graphics settings, but the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RX 9070 XT combination is capable of approximately:

• Call of Duty: Warzone Ultra: around 145 FPS
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Ultra: around 145 FPS
• Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra: around 110–125 FPS without heavy ray tracing
• Cyberpunk 2077 RT Ultra + FSR 4 Quality: around 85–90 FPS
• Counter-Strike 2 High: 300+ FPS
• Fortnite: approximately 150–230+ FPS depending on settings
• Alan Wake 2 High: around 90 FPS
• Hogwarts Legacy High: around 75–100 FPS
• Competitive esports titles: often well above 200 FPS depending on settings

These figures are indicative rather than guaranteed. Actual performance varies with graphics settings, game patches, driver versions, ray tracing, upscaling and background applications.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D – Built for Gaming

The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an 8-core, 16-thread processor built around AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology.

Its large cache design is particularly effective in gaming workloads, helping deliver strong frame rates and consistent performance in CPU-sensitive titles.

This makes it an ideal processor for:

• High-refresh-rate 1440p gaming
• Competitive shooters
• Open-world games
• Simulation games
• Streaming
• Game recording
• Multitasking
• Content creation

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is powerful enough to keep the RX 9070 XT well fed at 1440p, helping the graphics card operate close to its full potential.

Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB

The XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB provides the graphics power behind the Phantom XT.

With 16GB of dedicated VRAM, it has the memory capacity needed for modern high-resolution textures, demanding AAA games and 1440p Ultra settings.

The RX 9070 XT is ideally suited to:

• 1440p Ultra gaming
• High-refresh-rate monitors
• Competitive gaming
• 4K gaming
• AAA titles
• FSR upscaling
• Frame generation
• Streaming and recording
• High-resolution textures

The 16GB VRAM capacity also gives the card more headroom than lower-capacity gaming GPUs as modern games become more demanding.

Excellent for High-Refresh 1440p Monitors

The Phantom XT is an excellent match for gamers using:

• 1440p 144Hz monitors
• 1440p 165Hz monitors
• 1440p 180Hz monitors
• 1440p 240Hz monitors

Competitive games such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Fortnite and Call of Duty can take advantage of the strong CPU and GPU combination to deliver very high frame rates.

For AAA titles, the system provides the graphics performance needed to prioritise visual quality while maintaining smooth gameplay.

Also Capable of 4K Gaming

Although the Phantom XT is primarily optimised as a 1440p gaming PC, it also has strong 4K capability.

In less demanding or well-optimised titles, the RX 9070 XT can deliver smooth native 4K performance.

For more demanding games, technologies such as AMD FSR can be used to increase performance while maintaining high image quality.

Representative 4K results include:

• Cyberpunk 2077 rasterised: around 60–65 FPS
• Starfield: around 55 FPS
• Many AAA games: approximately 60 FPS or higher with suitable settings
• Competitive games: often considerably higher

For gamers who want to move to a 4K monitor in the future, the Phantom XT gives you that flexibility.

32GB DDR5-6000 Memory

The system includes 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 memory, configured as two 16GB modules.

32GB is an excellent capacity for modern gaming and provides enough memory for:

• Gaming
• Discord
• Web browsers
• Streaming
• Game recording
• Content creation
• Video editing
• Heavy multitasking

DDR5-6000 is also a strong memory speed for the Ryzen AM5 platform.

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 Cooling

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is cooled by an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360mm liquid cooler.

The large 360mm radiator provides excellent thermal capacity during extended gaming sessions while also giving the system a premium high-end appearance.

Effective cooling helps maintain stable processor performance during demanding workloads.

This provides:

• DDR5 support
• Integrated Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• NVMe storage support
• Modern USB connectivity
• Future AM5 CPU upgrade options

AM5 gives the system a strong long-term upgrade path compared with older DDR4 gaming PCs.

1TB NVMe SSD

A 1TB PNY NVMe SSD provides fast storage for Windows, games and applications.

NVMe storage gives the system:

• Fast Windows startup
• Quick application launches
• Reduced game-loading times
• Fast file access
• Responsive everyday performance

Additional SSD storage can be added later if your game library expands.

850W Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

The Phantom XT uses the MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850W 80+ Gold fully modular power supply.

The 850W capacity provides comfortable headroom for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RX 9070 XT while also giving the system flexibility for future upgrades.

The fully modular design improves cable management and helps maintain clean airflow inside the case.
